Dear S2 pupils,

At this time of year we begin to plan for next session and make decisions about our S3 Pathways. It is essential we complete this process promptly so we know which subjects we need to run next year, and to try to ensure as many pupils as possible get to take the subjects they require.

Firstly, please watch the video below which I have prepared to help guide you through the process. Parents and Carers are encouraged to watch this with young people.

Secondly, the School Booklet below provides extensive guidance on the options process moving into S3. Almost every question you will have will be answered within this guide, so please take the time to read it thoroughly with your parents and carers. You will also find detailed guides for every course we offer, including college and DYW courses.

Thirdly, Kate Faulds, our SDS careers adviser has created a video to help you through the decision making process.
