Entries are now open for this year’s Young Musician Competition!
The competition takes place on Thursday 27th March 2025, at 6pm in the school extension. All competitors should arrive no later than 5.45pm and full school uniform should be worn.
There are 3 classes in which to compete: Junior (S1/2), Intermediate (S3/4) and Senior (S5/6). There is a maximum of 10 competitors per class – if necessary, heats will be held in advance – time and date TBC.
The winner of the Senior class will go forward to represent Stewarton Academy in the East Ayrshire Young Musician Competition taking place on Thursday 24th April 2025.

Note that all competitors must provide a copy of the sheet music that they are performing for the adjudicator to refer to on the night. For more information and advice, speak to any of the Music staff.
