We have enjoyed settling back into school life this week in P1/2/3. Yesterday, we read the story ‘The Colour Monster’ which is all about feelings and emotions.
We had a little chat about how we felt about coming back to school and drew a Colour monster to match our emotion. We are absolutely fantastic in P1/2/3 at recognising how we are feeling and knowing how to manage our emotions 🙂
We are delighted to welcome our P1/2/3 class back to school today.
The children have been enjoying ‘Disco Dough’ and playing in the sunshine with their friends at playtime.

Hi Primary 2/3 🙂 I hope you all had a lovely break and I CANNOT WAIT to see you all again on Monday! I am so happy.
Your home learning will be slightly different for today and tomorrow as we do not have a full learning grid. We are going to be basing our learning around the story of ‘The Worrysaurus’. The story is all about a little dinosaur who worries about things and how he can get rid of his worries. Just like in class, we give The Worry Monster all of our worries to eat up. Please click on the link below to listen to the story first. You can work through the different activities on the grid over the next two days.

As we have made it to another Friday it’s time to have a look at what we’ve all been up to this week in P1/2/3!
We have been doing some marvellous maths..
and some amazing literacy!
We have been out lovely walks and made some awesome creations to help wildlife in our local area…
and made super maps of Scotland!
We learned about how to stay safe online from Detective Digiduck 🦆. Some of us made a little video explaining what Digiduck taught them.
Overall we have had a fantastic week and you should all be very proud of yourselves 🥰

This Sunday is Valentines Day (February 14th) and I thought it would be lovely to do some Valentines activities.
