The children have had a fantastic day today participating in a variety of different experiences all linked to the big bedtime read.

We all looked amazing in our pyjamas and enjoyed a whole range of different stories. We even had supper for snack today! 🙂

The children participated in designing pyjamas, giving their babies and teddies a bath before bed and even sorted all of our teddies into different sizes.

Be on the look out for the ECC bears coming home with your child over the next few weeks, the children are excited to show the bears around and read them some bedtime stories 🙂

The children of the Purple & Green groups enjoyed their visit to Caprington woods yesterday.

The children had loads of fun gathering sticks and helping to prepare our camp fire. The children listened very well to all of the safety information and understood the importance of keeping everyone and the woodland area safe from the fire.

We had a fantastic time toasting our marshmallows, and had even more fun eating them 🙂

We ended our last session at the woods playing with all of the leaves that had fallen on the forest floor, we had such a great time! 🙂

We have all had a fantastic time over the last few weeks at the woods! 🙂

The children of the Blue & Orange groups have had a wonderful time this afternoon at Caprington woods.

We had so much fun going on an adventure to discover some castle ruins & practised our balancing skills walking across a fallen tree.

We also enjoyed making a tree swing & even collected some natural materials to bring back to the ECC to show all of our friends! 🙂

We have all had an amazing time over the past 4 weeks on our woodland adventures!

The children enjoyed a visit from the fire fighters yesterday.

We got to look at the fire engine up close and have a look at all the shutters and doors, discovering what was behind each one of them.

The fire fighters showed us some of the tools and equipment they use when there is a real fire & even let us hear how loud the siren is! 🙂

The children of the purple & green groups have had a fantastic time this afternoon at Caprington woods.

We had great fun exploring base camp & finding large sticks to make a tree swing. The children worked together as a team to attach the large stick with rope to create our amazing tree swing! 🙂

The children are looking forward to their visit next week where they plan to build some natural dens! 🙂

The children of the orange & blue groups have had a wonderful time this afternoon at Caprington woods.

We were practising our balancing skills by climbing over the fallen tree and had lots of fun building tree swings and testing them out! 🙂

We even discovered a new type of wild berry and collected some to show our friends back at the ECC 🙂
