The children of the Yellow and Orange Groups had a wonderful time at Caprington woods this morning 🙂

We had great fun walking around the woodland area, collecting leaves, sticks, fir cones and acorns to make some fantastic pictures. We also investigated all the different sounds we could hear,  such as the wind blowing through the trees and the different noises our boots made as we walked through the squelchy mud and puddles!

We went on a big walk through the woods investigating all the fallen trees and branches, we then all gathered round to enjoy the story of………….

We really enjoyed the part where, sheep, goat and frog were left ‘Stuck in the muck’ 🙂

We have had a fantastic day today at Riccarton Early Childhood Centre!

We have been very busy with a range of exciting activities, such as sharing a story with our families and friends, making our own character masks and have had great fun exploring our Hungry Caterpillar curiosity cube!

All the children enjoyed participating in a book hunt around the nursery garden, looking for some new and exciting books!

We then got to take them home 🙂

The children of the pink group enjoyed their visit to Bridgend garage this morning!

We had the opportunity to look around the workshop and investigate the different sounds of the engines. We then watched with interest as the mechanics fixed the cars and vans 🙂

We all had a fantastic time!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Bridgend garage for letting us visit over the past 7 weeks!

The children of the Green group have had a fantastic time at Bridgend garage this morning!

We have been very busy investigating some car and van engines, as well as watching the mechanics change some car tyres 🙂

We then went along to the Bridgend photo booth to see where the cars get their photographs taken for the website!

We were very lucky to get to sit inside some sporty and convertible cars! 🙂

The children of the Pink group are looking forward to their visit next week! 🙂

The children of the yellow group had a wonderful time at Bridgend garage this morning!

We were very busy looking at all the vans and cars for sale, we enjoyed matching the car badges to our own family cars 🙂

We all had a close look at the different controls of the cars, finding out how the wipers, steering wheel and lights work. We then had a great time looking at all the colourful cars within the showroom and picking out our favourite ones 🙂

The children have been learning about a range of different cultures and traditions  during our international week 🙂

We have been exploring a range of different foods, music and souvenirs from 5 countries around the world……………..

We have been busy participating in a wide variety of learning experiences such as cooking, painting, and creating our very own Chinese dragon!

The children of the red group had a fantastic time looking around the workshop, photo booth and showrooms of our local Bridgend garage.

We learned what the brakes of a car looked like as well as investigated what the inside of a car engine is like!

The children were asking important questions about how cars work and what all the buttons and switches do 🙂

We all had a great time!!

The children of the orange group had a fantastic time visiting the local Bridgend garage.

The children were able to have a good look at how the mechanics fix the cars, watch them being transported on and off of the ramps.  They also had great fun watching the cars being washed and polished ready to be photographed in the shiny photo booth 🙂

We were even allowed to sit inside some sporty cars! 🙂

The children of the blue group are looking forward to going along next week 🙂
