On Monday the children went on a transition visit to Whatriggs PS.  What a lovely day they had, the staff and buddies were so welcoming and there were lots of activities to take part in before we finished with a story from Mrs Khalid and a dance from the P6 buddies.  Look how much fun they had….

Today the children enjoyed a beach theme party in Willow Woods.  We had lots of fun in the sandpit, playing with bubbles, on the swings, the mud kitchen and dancing to our music.  We had ice cream for snack 🙂

Thanks for all the support in making our Halloween Fun Day a success.

The costumes were fabulous and the staff joined in the ‘spirit’ of the day too.

Lots of great experiences on offer for the children to partake in, followed by spooky snack and party games before dooking for our apples.

The children in both sessions were excited to have a visit from one of the Kilmarnock divisions of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Firefighter Craig spoke to the children about what their service do and the children got to try out a real uniform.  Following that they got to try out the hose and sit in the vehicle.

Susie visited the children on Wednesday of last week to talk about the importance of hand-washing.  The children were able to see the germs that we carry on our hands in Susie’s “germ detector”.  Attached are some of the photographs that we captured at both sessions.
