As this week is Maths Week Scotland, we all got lovely new packs home with lots of different resources to help us with our learning at home (only the scrapbook needs to be returned). It was so nice to welcome visitors back into our class on Wednesday & we loved sharing some of our learning with you.
We have been working on addition and subtraction as well as our place value work this week. We have also been learning our numbers on French and have been working hard to identify these.
We have also been working with P4/5 on a STEM project to create a model house. We have been learning to use lots of different joins in order to join different pieces of cardboard together.
To start of this week we were learning about respect and we all made an acrostic poem about what respect means to us. We were also summarising what we have read in our book so far as well as revising our spelling strategies.

Next in maths we were doing place value and rounding and we were also using the base ten material to make homes, hotels and even animals.

We were also making paintbox poems we were using similes and metaphors to improve our writing, for our paintbox poems we had to think of 4 colours and things that would be that colour.

For PE we were doing basketball. We also went out for rounders and we also played some team games. The P6 pupils also started rugby training.
