Goodbye P6, Hello P7!

What a way to end the year! We have spent our week having fun in the class and making memories to last a lifetime! We have had lots of fun creating games, making art, playing chess, and working together. On Wednesday we took our trip to the Heads of Ayr Farm Park where we saw lots of animals, and had a blast playing at the soft play and outdoor areas.

Today we say goodbye to Primary 6. We have had the most amazing year together. I will forever cherish the memories we have made as a class and am honoured to have been your teacher this year. You have given me the most joyous year ever! I am wishing you all the best for Primary 7 and for all of your future journeys. I know you will all do so well and leave your mark on the world. You are all awesome! I am so proud of every one of you. Thank you for the most wonderful year!

P6 Vs. Comics

This week we engaged in a live lesson with Jamie Smart, author of Bunny Vs. Monkey. During this lesson, our class got to hear all about the process of creating a comic story, how to create characters, and were shown a step-by-step process of how to draw Bunny and Monkey. Following this lesson, the class all designed their own characters for a comic and have begun to create their own stories which include these characters. We have also worked with P1 to plant sunflowers and paint wildflowers. Primary 6 have also been learning to create collages of an animal. Today we had so much fun at Sports Day!
