Hello all,
As we approach Burns week, the pupils have been sent home with their poems and lyrics to the song ‘O Flower of Scotland’.
If they could practise this at home as part of their homework, that would be great!
The pupils are to learn 2, 3 or 4 verses to perform in front of the class or myself (whatever makes them most comfortable).
Linked below are the 2 poems for each stage in case they lose their sheets!
P6- Willy Wastle By Robert Burns
Below is the link to our song: 0:00- 3:04
Thank you!
Miss Murray

Hi miss Murray. We hve been trying hard at home with Lewis and his poem. He is finding it extremely hard. He’s getting himself into quite a state not wanting to come to school until its past.
I’ve explained to him he needs to give it a wee go. He’s findng it really hard to say some of the words.
He’s fine with his song, practised well.
Was just incase he seems a bit off.
I hope he can give it a good go and do well as he’s tried hard, but understanding him is quite difficult too.
Laura
Hello,
I’m sorry to hear Lewis has been struggling with his poem.
I had a discussion with him today that this isn’t something I want him to be worried about! Please be reassured that we will be doing this one to one and that I can support him with any words he is finding challenging.
I hope this settles your worries!
I’ll have another discussion with him tomorrow morning!
Miss Murray
