This week we started looking at pattern and sequences. We started off by making patterns using shapes and colours. Then we looked at number patterns and worked out the rule of the sequence. Some of us even worked out the rule using negative numbers.
Today Mrs Connell asked us what we needed money for. We made a list of all the different ways we use money. We also talked about help available to support people too. Identifying coins, working out change and total costs are just some of the activities we’ve been up to.
Are you looking for a challenge? Have a go at Rigour Maths Problem a Day challenge. There’s a question each day from all aspects of maths. Give the first level one a go or, if you fancy a challenge, try second level.

In maths, we used play-doh to help us with division.
In literacy, we explored Scots language and completed a crossword in Scots.
