We have started a new book called Kensuke’s Kingdom as class Novel.
We predicted how we thought what would happen in the book and played unlikely or likely with the post it’s that we made. We decided how likely each prediction was to happen.

Angles
This week we have been learning about different types of angles. We went out to the playground to find different examples. We finished off with a game of angle tig.
Shape
Today we created our own symmetrical patterns using paint. Then we used an app online to draw one half and watch as the computer drew the other half.

Number Sequences
This week we started looking at pattern and sequences. We started off by making patterns using shapes and colours. Then we looked at number patterns and worked out the rule of the sequence. Some of us even worked out the rule using negative numbers.
Money, money, money 💰
Today Mrs Connell asked us what we needed money for. We made a list of all the different ways we use money. We also talked about help available to support people too. Identifying coins, working out change and total costs are just some of the activities we’ve been up to.
