This afternoon, we explored circuit making. Last time we drew our circuits and made predictions and today we tested these out. We made lots of successful circuits and problem solved when these didn’t quite work out.
Foam Relief Printing
This afternoon we tried foam relief printing. Using styrofoam, we created an image and traced it until we had pressed into the styrofoam. Then we used brayers (rollers) to apply paint. Press and peel and we had created our prints. Have a look…
MacMillan Coffee Morning 🧁
Primary 5-7 enjoyed a visit to the MacMillan Coffee Morning hosted in the village hall. We shared some tea, coffee and cakes with family and the community. You can tell they all enjoyed.
Money 💰
We have been learning about financial risks and how to avoid them. We looked at where we could store money and what investments are. Everyone learned that investments can work for or against us when we played a game.
Safe Passwords 🔐
We have been learning about what makes a password safe. We created weak passwords then after learning how to make a strong password, sorted them out.

Scrabble Spelling
Scrabble Spelling was our starter this morning. We had to spell our words with tiles then work out the total. Funnily enough, the minute we all started working, everyone needed a ‘P.’
Kidtastic Time
Our P6/7’s have had a brilliant opportunity leading Kidtastic Time. They have blown our socks off with how well they have organised activities for the younger pupils. They have enjoyed coding, art activities, obstacle courses and bug hunting. After learning about wax resist in Expressive Arts, Heidi and Louise decided to teach the other class how to do wax resist art.
