On Monday we were so excited to celebrate Halloween by joining up for some structured activities with P4-7. We enjoyed doing art, games and enjoying some wee treats!
Some other highlights included our music session which we really enjoyed. We used glow sticks as beaters and worked on the rhythm of ‘Spooky Scary Skeletons’.
We also finished working on our descriptive writing pieces and we are really proud of our finished pieces. (These pieces were sent home so you can have a look at our wonderful work.)
We continued to develop our knowledge of the ‘Formal Method’ – this time to solve subtraction calculations.
We finished up the week by creating some Bonfire Night inspired artwork. We used a combination of chalk and oil pastels to create different effects. This was challenging at times but we developed lots of new skills!
