Weekly Round-Up

It has been another week of glorious sunshine, it’s just a pity this lovely weather isn’t going to last.

We made the most of  by the sunshine by going for a walk to the river on Monday afternoon. We saw lots of tadpoles and enjoyed catching them in containers to have a closer look. We made sure we returned them all to the water before we left!

Our pupils have been working so hard to learn chess and took part in round 1 of the Chess Championship on Tuesday. Well done to the pupils who have made it through to round 2.

We also had Discovery Dens again on Wednesday afternoon, where we got to take part in lots of different activities. Mrs McKenna’s group were learning to draw an ice-cream tower.

We have also been taking part in ‘Walk to School Week’ this week and have enjoyed walking to school with a different theme each day. Have a look at some of our crazy hairstyles yesterday!

We completed the vertical jump for the Junior Sports Championship in PE this week.

Riley was the winner of a Ruby Reward ticket today and chose Carter to sit with him at the Ruby Reward table. Well done Riley!
