Weekly Round-Up

It has been a busy week in Primary 4!

This week we have been learning to divide 2 digit numbers by a single digit in numeracy. We have been talking about Scots words in literacy and have been learning to write about ourselves using the Scots language. We have also been been creating our own pieces of artwork in the style of the Scottish designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh and learning about the days of the week in French.

Well done to Allan who has been working so hard to learn his times tables and has managed to complete his Multiplication Masters times table passport. Great work!

We went for another lovely walk to the river on Wednesday afternoon. It was a beautiful day for it! The sun was shining and all of the ice that was there last week had gone. As a result the river level was a bit higher. We had lots of fun building sandcastles, looking for different types of stones and working together in teams.

Pupils should keep practising their Scots poem at home and should know this by Wednesday next week. Finalists will be chosen on Wednesday as the judging will take place on Thursday.
