We started off our week with Remembrance Day on Monday. We observed a 2 minute silence in class, went for a walk to visit the war memorial with P5 and created our own oil pastel poppy pictures.
It was lovely to see so many families join us for our literacy open morning on Tuesday. We enjoyed sharing our learning with you all.
This week is ‘Anti-Bullying’ week and we have been talking about kindness and respect. We created our own recipe for kindness in literacy and got to watch a super theatre production called ‘Hope’ which explored the issue of bullying.
Today was a dress down day and lots of us were wearing Pudsey outfits for Children in Need.
This morning we took part in a lantern making workshop for ‘Make Catrine Sparkle’. The finished lanterns look amazing!
Ayla was the winner of a Ruby Reward ticket today and chose Miley to sit with her at the Ruby Reward table. Well done Ayla!
