P3 had fun at PE practicing addition and aiming skills.
We investigated materials that would help to keep Incy Wincy dry in the rain.
First we made our spiders and then we chose which materials would be best. Like true scientists, we tested our theories out and realised materials with no holes are the best.
P3 enjoyed a walk around our village to look for signs of Autumn
This week we are concentrating on the 5 times table for homework.
Lookout for your 5 times table fortune teller task to do at home with your child, this will be in their bags tomorrow. I hope you have fun making it and practicing with your child.
P3 went a walk around the school playground to find 3D shapes in the real world. Apologies for the lack of photos, technology is not my friend today and won’t let me upload anymore.
Last week P3 designed landings for Humpty Dumpty to land on. They investigated suitable materials and drew their designs.
This week we predicted if the designs would save Humpty Dumpty then we tested them to see if we were right.
Well done to P3!
P3 will need their PE kits on a Thursday. We are hoping to go walks on Tuesday, please can you make sure your child has a jacket to accommodate our ever changing weather, thanks!
P3 have had a busy first full week back. We have been learning about place value, predicting, spelling and French.
We also discussed what we would like to be in our class charter, have a look at what is important to us.
