P3 Class Talk Homework Project
Title: My Favourite Animal
Primary 3s have been given the topic My Favourite Animal to prepare a short 5 minute talk to the rest of the class. The children should find out information about their animal such as; where in the world it lives, where it sleeps, what it eats, what their babies are called, what noises it makes and how it gets around. They should also consider why this is their favourite animal.
Children should practise their talk at home in order to be able to fluently talk to the class, they can make a poster or take notes to help them remember what they are going to share.
Talks should be ready to be heard for Monday 18th November
We used our ICT skills to do some research this week. We found out a bit about Mossgiel Farm and what happens there. Ask me at home what I discovered.
P3 joined the P4s for a super Halloween Party. There was games, parades, dancing, conga, dooking for apples, crafts, movie and tasty snacks. Fun was had by all!
Mrs McKenna had fun trying to spook us dressed as a ghost!
We have been practicing our times tables so we can be Multiplication Masters
This is us making…
doing and
saying our 2 times table.
We helped to decorate pumpkins, look out for these in the chemist. I hope you don’t get too scared!!
We take time time out to read books for enjoyment, this week we were learning how this can help our mental health.
We were learning how to make fast and slow rhythms. Here we are stomping around as elephants, sometimes we were fast and sometimes we were slow. We felt the beat of our hearts before and after the exercise to see how it changed.
For the last week of your homework you can choose between the 2, 5 and 10 times table. Pick 2 tasks from the homework grid to complete. Enjoy!
We worked together to get the hoop from one end of the line to the other without letting go hands. It was tricky!
