Weekly Round-Up

We have been doing lots of super learning in Primary 2/3 this week.

We have been learning the ‘o-e’ sound in literacy. We have continued to work on writing sentences and have been learning to write book reviews. In numeracy we have been learning to multiply by 10.

We had lots of fun trying out the fantastic new gymnastics equipment with Mrs McCaig on Tuesday afternoon.

We had lots of fun at the park on Wednesday afternoon.

We have been discussing our school value ‘community’ and have started to learn about ‘Healthy Eating’, which is our topic for this term. We will also be learning about the human body.

We have also had a wee visitor at our fire door this week. An oyster catcher keeps coming up and chapping the window with its beak to say hello!

Have a great long weekend everyone!

First week of term 4

The sun has been shining for our first week of term 4!

This week we have been learning the ‘i-e’ split diagraph and practising writing sentences in literacy. We have been learning how to multiply by 5 in numeracy and had fun looking for arrays in the playground. We have also been creating some lovely artwork for the Catrine Show.

We enjoyed some guided meditation in class on Tuesday afternoon and went for a walk to the park on Wednesday.

Riley was the winner of the Golden Ticket today and chose Oscar to sit with him at the Golden Table for lunch. Calli also got to sit at the Golden Table as Demi won a Golden Ticket this week and chose Calli to sit with her.

Have a great weekend!
