SCARECROW MAKING
As you are probably aware from the children we are making scarecrows in Base 1. If anyone has anything suitable at home for stuffing the scarecrows or for decorating them we would be very grateful if they could be brought in next Tuesday 25th Spetember.
CHANGE TO P.E. DAYS
In a change to our timetable after the holiday weekend our P.E. days will be Mondays and Fridays. This is a permanent arrangement for the rest of the year.
OUR CLASS CHARTER
As part of our Rights Respecting Schools programme we created our own class charter. We picked three articles which we feel are important to us.
Article 28 – We have a right to an education.
Article 31 – We have the right to relax and play.
Article 36 – We have the right to be safe.
Thank you
The children welcomed lots of parents and carers on Tuesday afternoon. Thank you to everyone who managed to pop in.
Change of PE day and Library day – this week only!
This week we will have PE on Thursday 13th instead of Wednesday 12th and Library on Wednesday 12th instead of Thursday 13th. Our timetable will revert back to normal next week.
Thank you.
Tuesday 11th September
Parents and carers of Primary 1C are invited to come along and share our learning on Tuesday 11th September from 2.45 till 3.15 in base 1. We hope you can come along. Please enter by the main door at reception.
Welcome to Primary 1C
Everyone is settling in well to our school routines. We are making lots of new friends in class and in the playground. We are enjoying our school lunches and are becoming very independent.
YELLOW BOOKS
These are primarily for communication between school and home. It would be helpful if information stickers could be initialled when read.
We will be having PE on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please remember no jewellery should be worn.
Our library day will be a Thursday. Please remember to bring your book back every week for exchanging.
