Primary 3/4 Homework 7th March

Hello Primary 3/4!

**If you scroll down past this post, you’ll see a little update about our dinosaur topic. We’ve been having a great time with it.  I’d also be grateful if anyone has any spare shoeboxes lying around to donate them, we’re looking to do a project with them. Thank you!**

Here is your homework for this week. Remember, Homework is due back every Friday! Here’s our homework guide, this is only an example of what can be done each day.

Monday

Have a conversation with someone at home using the ‘Talk together’ Lanyard. This week’s questions are:

‘What was your favourite part in our Horrid Henry book last week?’

‘What adventures would you have in Horrid Henry’s World?’

Tuesday

Choose 2 spelling tasks from the menu to practise all of your spelling words in your jotter.

Wednesday

This week we have a another problem solving challenge!

I’m Eight

This challenge is about finding a lot of ways of asking questions which make 8.

If you’re 8, you might think of 6 + 2, or 22 – 14 or…

However, try to create examples that use all the different mathematical ideas that you know about.

Perhaps you could challenge yourself to find ways of making your age that you think no-one else will have thought of.

As an extra task, practise your maths on Sumdog.

Thursday

Read through your reading book on Bug Club!
