Monday 18th January
Good morning boys and girls,
I hope you and your families have all had a lovely weekend. It was so nice to see your learning activities you have been doing at home.
Tell me about one thing you did at the weekend.
I know how you all like to hear stories when Ruby has been with Miss Kelly. Well on Saturday we went a walk with Ruby’s new red car that Santa brought her. Since it had been raining Ruby also had great fun jumping in all the puddles. Miss Kelly’s car ended up all muddy but we had great fun! 🙂
I hope you are all recharged and ready to start a new week of learning activities. Below I will attach your learning grid and any documents you need for the week ahead.
Just a reminder that I will be in school on Monday & Tuesday so will reply to any queries when I have a chance throughout the day. If not i will respond after school.

Good morning everyone!
It is Friday, I hope you have had a good week at home spending time with your families and not driving them to crazy. I hope you have coped well with your home learning.
As you know I am in school today so will be less available online. I will get back to comments and e-mails when I can. I will respond to e-mails with work until around 4pm.
What is one home learning activity you have really enjoyed this week?

Good afternoon everyone,
I hope that you had a lovely Christmas and New Year with your families. The school is very quiet without you – I am missing you all very much. I hope that we can all be back together soon.
I wonder if any of you spotted this handsome little fella in Miss Kinnaird’s winter weather video on the school blog?
This is Mylo and he is my new puppy nephew! Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to meet him in person over the holidays because he lives too far away but hopefully I will see him soon. I wonder if there were any new animal additions to your families over Christmas time?
Heidi welcomed a beautiful new addition to her family on 21st December – her baby sister Melody! Congratulations to Heidi and her family. We know that Heidi is going to be a fabulous big sister and a great help to her Mum. She is looking forward to bringing Melody into the playground to meet us when we return to school.

Yesterday was a bit of a miserable day but hopefully you managed to get outside even if you had to wrap up to keep dry.

P2 Health and Wellbeing – We Are All Different
Hello P2,
I hope you and your families are all well during lockdown and that you aren’t driving them crazy!
We are going to start this term’s HWB by looking at your own skills and abilities as well as those of other children.
- read through the We Are All Different powerpoint and discuss with you parents
- fill in My Passport activity and the Things You Are Good At worksheet with your best pictures and sentences. try to make it as neat and colourful as you can.
- you can print sheets off to complete your work or you may prefer to copy it out on paper.

I hope yesterday went ok and you had a good day. I hope you are managing to work through your core tasks that are on the learning grid and that you have are able to access the resources you need.
I would also like to take time to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone for my lovely Christmas present. I look forward to being able to go for a lovely afternoon tea when we are allowed and get something nice with my voucher.
