Consultations Re: Onthank Campus
As you may have seen, East Ayrshire Council has opened a Consultation on the proposal for changes, affecting Onthank Primary School and Onthank Early Childhood Centre (as well as Willowbank School and Mount Carmel Primary).
To summarise, the proposal is:
- The discontinuation of the Willowbank Primary School within the existing Willowbank School and it’s relocation to the current Onthank campus.
- The establishment of an additional early years transition facility within the relocated Willowbank Primary School.
- The formal incorporation of the existing inclusion resource at Onthank Campus as a Supported Learning Centre.
- The establishment of an Early Childhood Centre at Mount Carmel Primary School.
The Council is keen to gain feedback on these proposals and there are several ways in which you can respond (including an online form, email, and in writing).
In addition, there is a video meeting next Wednesday, 11th May, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
At this meeting, you will be able to:
- Hear more about the proposal
- Ask questions about the proposal
- Have views recorded so that they can be taken into account as part of the consultation process
