The Power of Arrays and Introducing Algebra Tiles

The aim of these sessions is to highlight how important the development of number sense, in particular the development of arrays, supports learners algebraic thinking. The session also highlights how a particular set of manipulatives, called Algebra tiles, currently being introduced in upper primary and secondary schools can be used to support algebraic thinking and learning.
