Monday, 22nd September

Good morning everyone, this week is Maths Week Scotland so there is no homework being sent home. I would encourage everyone to read for enjoyment at home and email any pictures of your child reading, either on their own, with a family member or a friend. Please feel free to email anything to me:

‘Book of the Week’ Thank you, Ruaridh, we all loved your Mr Fox’s Game of “No!” it was a fun book and we had lots of laughs. Please continue to support our love of reading! This week, Ruby can bring in her favourite book to share with the class. This will be the next part of our class display.

I’m so grateful to the children who have already contributed to our exciting “Follow the Nether brick road” journey. This is a massive contribution towards our Gold Reading Schools Award. The children are really excited when they see another brick on the road.. Please continue to support/contribute to this by sending in any quotes/photos etc. that I can add to our display. We have already read so many stories together and would love to extend it further by sharing stories from home. I’ll look forward to hearing from you all.

  • Kindest regards,

Aynsley
