Scottish Foods

P1B and P1R had a lovely afternoon yesterday trying some different Scottish foods and drink.
Before our tasting, we voted on the things we thought we would and wouldn’t like. We spoke about all the different foods – where they came from and what made them Scottish. Then, we onto the  tasting…

We had some thumbs up and some very BIG thumbs down for certain foods.

Note to self, pepper oatcakes are very spicy… Nothing a little Irn Bru couldn’t fix though!

Well done P1 for being brave and trying things out of your comfort zone

Welcome Back!

Primary 1 didn’t let the cold and wet slow them down today! Exploring water and ice and investigating change, we were able to discuss the world around us and how to be safe!
We then had some super discussions around how to improve our experiences next time

Goldilocks and the three 🐻

This week P1 were learning through the story Goldilocks and tasted some porridge. Some thought it was “just right,”and a few brave tasters tried it even though they weren’t sure at first. It was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, explore new experiences, and talk about our likes and dislikes.
