We all had a fantastic time at our Christmas party this week! Didn’t we all look amazing!!
STEM – Road to RIAT
We had an amazing day last week developing our STEM skills. We designed our own gliders and tested them to see whose could travel the furthest and/or stay in the air the longest. We then learned about sustainability and entered a competition by designing our own sustainable aircraft for the future; the winning team will win tickets to the Royal International Air Tattoo.
Karate Taster Sessions
P7H loved working with Liam from Senjokai Karate Academy at a recent taster session in school. Stewarton Karate classes are likely to be a bit busier over the next few weeks!
Yoga and Mental Wellbeing Sessions
P7H really enjoyed working with Susan learning some Yoga moves and chatting about their mental health and wellbeing.
5th November!
Happy 5th November to everyone!!
Author Visit – 21st November

Lindsay Littleson, also a former schoolteacher and now full-time writer, has had ten children’s books published, all of which are Book Nook favourites. Lindsay also loves doing school events, saying ‘it is a real thrill to encourage a love of reading and to inspire children to write their own stories’. Lindsay will be focusing on two recent books, ‘Ice Cream Boy’ and ‘Euro Spies’, both of which are Book Nook favourites.

Happy Halloween from P7H!

STEM Transition Activities
We had an amazing day at Stewarton Academy this week! We got to visit the science department where we learned about density of oil and water by making our own lava lamps. We also visited the technical department where we got to use some of the machines in the workshop to make pencil holders. Kilmaurs Primary were there too so we could start to make some new friends.
