Our very own castles!

What a fantastic effort from P3KG making their own castles at home. Well done to everyone!

We really loved seeing these and hearing all about how they were made, materials used and the features included.

Data Handling

This week we have been finishing off our data handling topic in maths. We have been sorting information into Venn diagrams and some of us even made our own pictographs on the laptops!

Data Handling

We have began data handling in maths. This week we conducted surveys in class asking each other our favourite things and using tally marks to keep count. We then presented the data we had collected in bar charts.

Gymnastics

We had great fun during our gymnastics lesson at PE today. We tried out some different balances, rolls and had lots of fun using the apparatus!

Our very own McCoos

To round off our Scotland topic today, primary 3 were learning a little bit about the artist Steven Brown and exploring his McCoo pictures.

We then had a go at making some of our own!

Book Week Scotland 2025 📚

We have had a very busy week in P3KG. We have been exploring the book “Yoko” by Rosemary Wells which focuses on a Japanese main character. We then spent the week learning more about Japanese culture, writing reports about it, comparing Japan to Scotland, even doing some cherry blossom painting and trying out some origami! Plus we even managed to squeeze in a visit to the library. 📚

Week ending 7th November

What a busy week! We have been learning about 2 digit and 3 digit addition and developing our ability to find information in reading books to answer questions. We have also started to learn about food chains in the rainforest and terms such as: producer, consumer, predator and prey.
