Book Week Scotland 2025 ๐Ÿ“š

We have had a very busy week in P3KG. We have been exploring the book โ€œYokoโ€ by Rosemary Wells which focuses on a Japanese main character. We then spent the week learning more about Japanese culture, writing reports about it, comparing Japan to Scotland, even doing some cherry blossom painting and trying out some origami! Plus we even managed to squeeze in a visit to the library. ๐Ÿ“š

Week ending 7th November

What a busy week! We have been learning about 2 digit and 3 digit addition and developing our ability to find information in reading books to answer questions. We have also started to learn about food chains in the rainforest and terms such as: producer, consumer, predator and prey.

W/b 27th October

So far this week, we have been very busy making colourful parrots by tracing around our hands to make the feathers. We also have been exploring number bonds and fact families.
