The Very Hungry Caterpillar

As we are unable to have families in the school just now due to Covid restrictions, we would like to invite you to take part in some online Literacy fun with your children. To take part all you have to do is add your name at the bottom of this post or contact Mrs Bradford on 01290 338404. Once we have agreed a start date we will print off the activity sheets in school and send them home to you along with the details of the youtube links.

Happy Holidays

Good Morning everyone.

Today as you all know we finish for the holidays. No more school work for 6 weeks! Hopefully the sun will shine and I will be able to get into the garden and get all my furniture upcycling done. I have got my sander, paints and stencils all ready to begin. I just wanted to wish you all Happy Holidays and let you know I will be looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces in August. To all the Primary 7 children I will miss you all very much, however you are all more than ready for the next chapter of your school life. Have fun at the Academy and don’t forget to come back and visit.

Take Care and make loads of great memories.

P.S I forgot to say WELL DONE TEAM THISTLE !!!

Friday Meditation

Happy Friday everyone.

I don’t know about you but by this time on a Friday I am really looking forward to a quiet 5 minutes to myself. The most calming noise in the world for me is the sea. Take a few minutes just to enjoy the noises and let me know all that you are able to hear. Find somewhere safe and comfortable to lie down or sit, close your eyes and use your imagination to pretend you are at the beach.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Namaste
