P4 have been working hard on identifying their homes.
P3 have been very busy since they came back from the Christmas Holidays.
In maths they have been learning clocks. They have been working on analogue and digital time. They know that analogue is 12 hour time and that digital time is 24 hour time. They have also been learning fractions. Halves, quarters, thirds and tenths.
They have been learning about Robert Burns. They have been learning facts about Robert Burns Facts. They enjoyed doing this. They have been learning their Scottish poems. Their poem is The Midges.
P5/6 have been learning about healthy eating. We were copying a picture from a famous artist we also have been learning our Scottish poems which are Cat food rap, Lament for a lost dinner ticket and is a Dove a Doo Da.

We have discussed how to chunk it up in maths and are doing this in our homework this week . We counted up to 31 in French . We learned the months in French and so now we can say our birthday in French.
Today p7 was doing a task map about a book called road to freedom on Bug Club. It is about two slaves their names are Emma and Mama. They are running away.

We have been learning about fraction’s/equivalent fraction’s and we have been playing math games.
Our groups are called moon sun and planets we have been doing Scottish poems and rugby at the new pitches at brownfield and we have
been drawing our inventions and decorating them here is some of the invention’s.
The other day we had the opportunity to visit primary 2/3 and we picked 2 pupils from that class to explain to us what they have been doing lately in their class. They told us that they were writing words on computers to practise their spelling, playing maths games on the computers to learn about mathematics and still have fun, learning to write their names including capitals, learning about woodland animals and last but not least learning about numbers that round to 20. Pupils have said that they have really enjoyed being in primary 2/3 and learning about lots of fascinating things about the woodland animals.

In P3 they have been using the iPads to write Down their spelling words, go onto bug club, busy things, play spelling games and word games.
On the laptops they have been going onto their own accounts and go onto bug club, busy things, place value games and maths games. They also go onto word document and type things up.
P3 occasionally go onto the Promethean board and play math, spelling and language games.
