The other day we had the opportunity to visit primary 2/3 and we picked 2 pupils from that class to explain to us what they have been doing lately in their class. They told us that they were writing words on computers to practise their spelling, playing maths games on the computers to learn about mathematics and still have fun, learning to write their names including capitals, learning about woodland animals and last but not least learning about numbers that round to 20. Pupils have said that they have really enjoyed being in primary 2/3 and learning about lots of fascinating things about the woodland animals.
Last week was my first week of starting the after school dance club, surprisingly we covered a lot of skills for the dance to perform in Cumnock academy.
The song we have been dancing to is called ‘A million dreams’ from The greatest showman.’
We have been practising extremely hard and we are hoping we have the opportunity to win.
In P3 they have been using the iPads to write Down their spelling words, go onto bug club, busy things, play spelling games and word games.
On the laptops they have been going onto their own accounts and go onto bug club, busy things, place value games and maths games. They also go onto word document and type things up.
P3 occasionally go onto the Promethean board and play math, spelling and language games.
