Hello!
We’ve had a really busy few weeks in Primary 7a.
In numeracy we have been learning about data handling. We collected litter in the playground over the course of a week and have presented the data collected in bar graphs and line graphs. We then used the graphs that we collated to helps us analyse the data.
In literacy we have been working on our Tools for Writing skills and to help us do this we have written stories to share with the children in primary one. We have also spent time reading to our primary one and primary one/two friends.
On Wednesday afternoon we had a great time visiting the Alpacas at Hannahston.
We have written poems inspired by the new garden in the school grounds and we all enjoyed the opening of the garden on Friday.
This week we will have our first visit from Mrs Anderson from Robert Burns Academy and I am sure the children will be really keen to hear from her about RBA. We will also be auditioning for the Christmas performance.
I have posted some photographs in the photograph section which I hope you enjoy looking at.
Finally, the homework sheet for this week has information about the model Anderson shelter task. Just in case anyone is looking for that.
Best wishes,
Mrs Sommerville
