Monday 4th May- Daily Tasks

Good morning P4. I hope you all had a great weekend and managed to get outside and play in the lovely sunshine- fingers crossed the good weather stays with us all week. This morning your assignments will go live at 10am and I will be on here between 11-12pm and 2-3pm to answer any questions you have regarding work or if you just need a chat. They do not need to be competed until Wednesday giving you a few days to complete. Tuesday and Wednesday’s assignments will go live at 10am tomorrow, just as we did last week.

I also want to remind you all how well I think you are all doing and I’m am proud of each and every one of you. All we ask of you is that you try your best. If for any reason you are unable to do some of the tasks set then please don’t worry about it. Do what you can and please don’t stress out about it. We are very much doing revision of previous work and trying to set as many fun activities as we can to keep you occupied at home. Some tasks are optional so please don’t worry about having to complete every single assignment set. The most important thing is that you are happy and safe and having fun!

I would love to hear your news from the weekend or to see any photos you took to show us all how busy you have been. Eva enjoyed riding her bike and is doing extremely well all on her own. We also drew a rainbow on our driveway for the NHS and had picnics in the garden for lunch.  May the 4th be with you and have a great day!

*Feel free to complete the daily Joe Wick’s programme or the one Mr Smith put on the Blog.

*Can I please remind you that if you do upload your work on your e-portfolio that you let me know through the post on Teams*

Numeracy 4th May

Complete the column sums on the worksheet provided below.  You do not need to complete every sum.  Do as many as you think you need practice with.

I have also added a link for you to look at as a reminder on how to complete these sums.

You can either write on the worksheet below or complete on paper and take a photograph and upload to your assignment.  Don’t worry about doing on squared paper- plain paper will be fine. *Remember to show your workings, not just the answer.

Weekly Challenge Calendar

*This is an optional assignment*

Each week I will upload a weekly challenge calendar to celebrate specific days of the year with suggested fun activities to do to celebrate that day.  Don’t feel like you have to take part every single day, just do what you can.  If you have a different idea to the one suggested feel free to be as creative as you can.  You can share on Teams if you like but you don’t have to.  Have fun!

Blindfolded Obstacle Course

*This is an optional assignment*

Create an obstacle course in your house of garden using different objects.  Try it out yourself un-blindfolded so you know what the expectations are.  Then, try to get someone in the house to complete it blindfolded.  Your instructions will need to be clear and simple for them to follow the course successfully.  You can show photos of this if you wish but you don’t need to.  If you do complete this please remember to press ‘hand-in’ so I know you have completed it.  Have fun!
