Good morning P4. I hope you have all had a super 2 weeks off and have made lots of lovely memories with your family in the super sunshine. I know I have enjoyed being out in the garden and having lots of BBQs while we can. The weather looks lovely all week so make sure you make the most of it and spend as much time as you can playing outside and getting fresh air.

Each morning your assignments will go live at 10am as usual, however I will set the hand-in time to be 4pm on Wednesday for all of them as I know it has been a little tricky for some of you to get logged on during the day. Some are finding it easier to complete work at night when parents have finished work and that is absolutely fine. This way you can decide when you want to complete your assignments, whether it is each day or at night, it is completely up to you. Whenever you finish an assignment upload and hand-in and I can give you your feedback (you don’t need to wait until Wednesday at 4pm).
I will be on here between 11.30-12.30pm and 2-3pm to answer any questions you have regarding work or if you just need a chat. Remember to use the channels on the left (Playground, Library, No Filter-Photos, Gym Hall) appropriately. If you are wanting a chat with your friends, please do so on the Playground channel.
As soon as you come on to Teams or the Blog this morning can you just write a little comment about how you’re feeling today and what you are looking forward to about ‘being back at school’.

Complete the number problem (167 + 68) or (56 + 37). Remember to write the title of which strategy you are using in each box. You can write directly on the Number Talks sheet below and upload or write on a piece of paper, take a photo and upload it to your assignments. You can choose from:

*compensation
*bridging through 10

Time work- complete only Exercise 1 in Chapter 4. Complete on a word document and attach to send to me or you can write it out, take a picture of it and upload to your assignment. Remember Chapter 4 is on the Maths Homework tab at the top of the page.
Literacy 20th April
Easter holiday news. Write about all the fun things you managed to get up to over the holidays. This year will have been very different for us all as it is the first one we have ever had in lockdown. Talk about any games you played, crafts you made, baking, cooking, fitness- anything at all you did with your family. It is up to you how you present this. You could do it as a newspaper article, poster, postcard- the choice is completely yours. **This will be your Superstar Task for this week and will be on the Blog next Monday**
