Nature Art
P7 have been studying the artist Andy Goldsworthy. His style of art is nature based and using resources that he finds to create his art. We had a go at planning our own nature art! Check out what we created using things we found in nature!
K’Nex STEM Challenge
ROBOTS! They are everywhere! We learned about how technology is becoming a bigger part of our lives and making jobs a lot easier. We discussed why this could be a good thing and the drawbacks of this.
Enterprise
We have been working really hard during our enterprise project. Each group came up with a product they wished to sell during the Christmas fair. They had to budget for their product and make sure they end up with enough profit. Have a sneak peak at some pof our products!
Poppy Art
Remembrance Sunday was this week so we decided to draw some poppy art. We added some quotes for fallen soldiers to our art as a way to remember them. We took part in the minute silence to remember all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.
Diwali Crafts!
This year Diwali is on Friday 1st November 2024. Diwali which is the festival of lights, is celebrated by many different cultures. We learned about how these cultures celebrate this and their traditions.
CPR Training
All about saving lives! We had the opportunity to learn how to save lives using CPR and how to administer this safely. We completed some basic training.
Buddy Time!
P7 have been amazing buddies to their P1s. This week we made some Autumnal poems using our 5 senses. We really enjoyed creating and decorating leaves with our poems and designs.

- November—Enhanced Transition Meetings for pupils with an identified Additional Support Need (ASN)
- December – P7 Trip to GE Aerospace Prestwick
- January—Schools visits from Principal Teacher Guidance and Pupils from The RBA
- February—Universal Supports drop in session for parents, carers and pupils with literacy concerns or dyslexia.
- March—2nd visit from S1 Year Head, Campus Police Officer and link Principal Teacher of Guidance.
- April—P7s write a letter to Mrs Anderson about their hopes and dreams for the future at RBA
- May—Parent/carers and P7 activities evening—PE Department
- May—P7 Information Evening at The Barony Campus
- June—Bump up days
- June—Parent/carer drop-ins with Mrs Anderson by appointment
Halloween Fun!
Halloween Fun! Some of us decided to do a group costume this year! We participated in a range of Halloween themed activities in the classroom and went dooking for apples in the afternoon!
