World Book Day in P3!

We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day in Primary 3. Throughout the day, we shared our love of reading and talked about some of the different books we enjoy.

Some pupils gave short book reviews about books they had borrowed from the school library. It was great to hear everyone recommending their favourite stories and explaining why others might enjoy reading them too.

We also had a fun teacher swap. Mrs Norman spent time with Primary 3, while I ventured up to Primary 6. It was exciting to work with different teachers and experience something a little different for the day.

As part of the celebrations, we designed our classroom door based on the popular book series Diary of a Wimpy kid. This is one of my favourite series and a book collection that many of the class enjoy too.

To decorate the door, we wrote our own diary entries just like the characters do in the books. In our entries, we wrote about our favourite day in Primary 3 so far. It was lovely to reflect on all the fun experiences we have shared and turn them into our own mini diary pages.

World Book Day was a brilliant opportunity to celebrate reading, share our favourite books, and think about all the wonderful memories we are making in Primary 3. 📚✨
