Learning indoors this week continued to follow the interest of boats and sharks. Children explored using their imagination of how the sea moves and what creatures they might find. This supported working together and sharing knowledge with each other enhancing communication and vocabulary skills.

Some children explored different ways to mark make using stamper pens and large pieces of paper. They were very creative and again involved in collaborative working.

STEM
Every 2 weeks Becca takes groups to the stem room within the school where they become scientists and take part in experiments. This week involved making explosions from a glass.

Outdoors children continued to explore how to use their bodies to make the bikes go and build on relationships. Almost all children can dress themselves for outdoors without support which has been a great achievement in creating independence and lifelong skills. We had some entertainers this week as well where some children entertained us with singing or playing musical instruments which has been a joy.

In preparation for book week next week we made a display for our door of our author of the month NICK SHARRAT who wrote The Shark In The Park.

To help celebrate our rhyme of the month TEDDY BEAR TEDDY BEAR, children were invited to bring in their teddy bears and take part in fun activities for the day.

PLEASE CHECK OUT THE NEWSLETTER ON LEARNING JOURNALS AND DISPLAY AT FRONT DOOR FOR BOOK WEEK ACTIVITIES NEXT WEEK.
Have a good weekend
