We are still working on properties of 3D shapes. We are focussing on how many faces, edges and corners these shapes have:

Sphere, cylinder, cube, cuboid and cone.

Mental Maths

Can you write down all the numbers that add together to make 10? Ask someone to set a timer for you and race against the clock! Remember your switcher calculations!

 

Have some fun with someone at home and see if you can play these games. If you need a dice or counters please ask and I can give you some home to keep.

Each group has been allocated a non-fiction book on bug club. We have been learning that non-fiction books are about real things and that a fact is something true. Remember to complete the questions on the pages with the bugs on them.

We have been looking at the 3D shapes: cube, cuboid, sphere, cylinder and cone. Look around and see if you can spot any of these shapes in the house.

Normally we go trick or treating round our friends and families houses. Unfortunately we cant this year but do you have any jokes you could tell us tomorrow?
