Well P3/4 we have smashed another week of online learning. I am so proud of you all and have loved seeing all your magnificent work this week. I really can’t wait to be back together again. Look forward to seeing you during our Vscene session where we will check out for the week. I think there may be a Scot’s themed game of bingo!

Good morning everybody. Happy Thursday! Week 3 of remote learning is nearly complete. I can’t wait to see what you produce today. Please send me any examples of your work as I absolutely love seeing it! How are you getting on with your poems? Do you know all of the verses yet? I would absolutely love to see! I look forward to seeing you all on Vscene this morning. Today we will be discussing yesterdays task and looking at Scottish islands on a map.
Please see below this post an important message about the RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch organised by Mrs Mangan in the nursery. I will provide you with more information on this tomorrow.

The RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch will take place Friday 29th – Sunday 31st January 2021.
It is a huge citizen science project which requires YOUR help, all you have to do is watch the birds in your garden or local park for one hour and record what you have seen. It really is that simple!
Your results will help The RSPB detect if there are any species with declining populations that need focused conservation efforts.
Your results really are very important, even if you only see very few birds!
I will post links on Friday which will direct you to more information about this. If you get the chance please try and make a bird feeder. Mrs Mangan shows you how to do this in the video below.
|
Once you have completed the survey, please return the results to my email: geraldine.mangan@eastayrshire.org.uk by Friday 5th February.
Remember to let me know where, what day and time you have seen the birds. I will collate the data and notify RSPB.
Thank you for your help and happy bird watching!
Good morning boys and girls. I hope you are having a fantastic week so far. How many of you can recite your whole poem? I would absolutely love to see some videos of you practising! Please email me any work over to: eanicole.dunlop@glow.sch.uk
Looking forward to seeing you all during our live session this morning. Today we will be looking at Scottish islands and I have set you a research challenge as a follow up task.

There seems to be a problem at a national level with Vscene and this may have stopped some of you getting into your virtual classroom. Hopefully this will be sorted by tomorrow but it is out with school control. We understand you and your child’s frustrations and look forward to seeing them again shortly . Please continue to use the link on this page and the pin to log on.
See you all soon (hopefully) Mrs MacColl
