Monday 14th November marked the start of kindness week here at Lochnorris. Our classes took part in activities that encouraged caring, sharing and turn taking. Children understand how to be a good friend and are encouraged to put this in practice at all times. Click the link to view some photographs from across the week.

Our communication champions this week are;

SLC1b – Reino for using words to ask for ‘fireworks’ on the ipad.
SLC2a – Luke Harrison for using kind words with friends.
SLC2b – Caiden Russell for good communication when working with others to create the class Viking lonbgboat.
SLC3 – Megan for sharing her feelings and allowing others to support her.

SLC1a – Harper-Lea Climie for being kind and telling a friend that he was her ‘best friend’ for sharing.

Dyslexia Awareness Week 2022
Last week, week beginning 31st October, the focus was on Dyslexia Awareness Week. We wore a blue ribbon to raise awareness of dyslexia and participated in ‘No Pens Wednesday’. At the end of the week, we wore red in our support of the global campaign ‘Go Red for Dyslexia’ which aims to share all the amazing things people with this learning difference can do.
