Yesterday was St Andrews day. Each class celebrated by participating in activities with a Scottish focus. We had a taste of haggis, neeps and tatties, washed down with some sugar free Irn Bru. To see some photographs, please click the link :

Hallowe’en 2023

P7 Visit Dumfries House
For those who didn’t participate in the residential, we organised a week of fun outdoor activities. One of which was a picnic at Dumfries House. Everyone had a lovely day in the sunshine! Click the link to view some of our photographs.
Fairtrade Friday
Friday 12th May marked the end of Fairtrade Fortnight where we learned about the importance of encouraging people to switch to fairtrade products so that farmers and workers overseas can protect the planet and safeguard the future of some of the UK’s favourite foods.
As part of our Rights Respecting Journey, SLC participated in ‘Fairtrade Friday’ by having a breakfast together in each class. The pupils were encouraged to look for the fairtrade symbol on the products. To view the photographs, please click on the link.
SLC Coronation Celebrations
On Friday 5th May, SLC held a garden party to mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. We participated in a range of activities and games within our playground and wore red, white / blue.
