World Book Day 2023

On Thursday 2nd March, we participated in World Book Day across our classes.  We took part in a number of fun activities to engage with books and stories.  Please click the link to view some of our photographs from the day.

Rights Respecting Pupils of the Week

Our rights respecting pupils this week are;

 

SLC1a – Brodie Rolls for learning and joining in with our class routines.

 

 

SLC1b – Brooklyn Duffy for sharing the board with friends without adult support.

 

SLC2a – Ethan McPike for sharing good stories with everyone in class.

 

SLC2b – Sam Rowan for displaying great knowledge of Rights.

 

SLC3 – Jade Bourne for displaying a very positive attitude towards her written work.

Communication Champions of the Week

Our communication champions this week are;

 

SLC1a – Jack Hamilton for great talking when learning ‘t’ words.

 

SLC1b – Jake Love for making choices throughout the day using his voice.

 

 

SLC2a – Trent Biggs for participating well at PE and listening to instructions.

 

SLC2b – Reino Berndtson for listening to adults.

 

SLC3 – Alfie Haddow for using his words to tell us how he feels and making a pinky promise.

SLC1b – Sophie Lennon for communicating messages in full sentences

 

SLC2a – Evan McClue for keeping the ladies right and reminding them of things.

 

SLC2b – Luke Harrison for asking friends to play.

 

SLC3 – Harry Clapperton for enthusiastically joining in singing ‘Donald Where’s Your Trousers’.

SLC2b – Euan McLeod for using the zones of regulation to say how he feels.

 

SLC3 – Max Ambrose for using kind words in a very calm manner to communicate.

SLC1b – Amelia Mayo for making really good choices this week and being kind and helpful.

SLC2b – Alexander Mitchell for making good choices in the playground.

 

SLC3 – Amy Dale for listening while others express their thoughts and opinions in a respectful way.
