Let’s have some Fun on a Friday!
This week we challenge you to try and find household items that match the initial letters of your name.
So, if my name was Tom. I would sit out a
Toothbrush for T
Orange for O
Magazine for M
If you thought doing your first name was too easy, try both your names or choose some else’s name in your house.
Please send in photographs so we can see how creative you have been.
Enjoy, and have fun!
Pupils in SLC 3 have been very busy working from home. They are participating in Literacy, Numeracy and Health and Wellbeing tasks. On top of this, Miss Robertson sets them a daily challenge every day on Teams.
So far they have been challenged to make their beds, tidy their rooms and decorate some biscuits. They are reminded to take some time away from their work to have some fun too, just like we would in school. Here are a few photographs of some of the children busy doing their jobs.
Lucy is like many other children in the world right now: in quarantine with her family. Her hair is blue, but this time she knows why.
This story is designed to help children realise they’re not alone in the current conditions with Covid-19, to help them understand it’s temporary and to help them express how they are feeling.
We want to ensure that all children know it’s ‘okay, sometimes, to have a blue day.’
