Home Learning Grid – January 2026
Topic – Antarctica
For our topic we are considering the question “How are we connected to Antarctica?”
During the topic we will be mapping and location key landmarks on the continent of Antarctica, looking at the effect global warming is having on the ice shelves and plotting a line-graph that highlights the decrease of Emperor Penguin population.
Topic – World War II
For our topic we are considering the question “What can we learn from life on the home-front?”
During the topic we planned and designed air raid shelters, take a look at some of the junk modelling taking place in class.
WW2 History Alive with Kathryn
We were extremely lucky to get a visit from History Alive (Kathryn) on Friday 31st October. She brought in uniforms for us to try on, replica guns to hold, posters and photos to look at and much, much more! It was a fantastic experience and the class thoroughly enjoyed it!
Physical Education
P.E. days are on a Tuesday and Friday, please ensure your child comes to school with a P.E. kit on these days in order to participate in the lessons. Our focus for P.E. is social dancing.
