Welcome to our P3MH blog. We will update this with the monthly home learning blogs (paper copies will also be sent home). Also check the page for any information and updates. Thank you.

All children have been given their usernames, passwords and school codes. These have also been sent home.
Bug Club can be accessed on: https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk/login?c=0
Books will be allocated each week. Once the book has been read, you can continue to access it by entering The Library section of Bug Club. This will allow the learner to continue to practice reading and reinforce new sounds and words. Please remind learners to answer the bugs as they read through the book. Thank you.
PE
Our PE days are Monday and Friday.
A gentle reminder that children can not take part in PE wearing earrings. If your child wears earrings, please remove these before school on PE days (Monday and Friday). Alternately; earrings can be taped up but please provide a letter of permission and tape for your child to tape their earrings up. Thank you.

Please find below the October home learning grid. A paper copy of this has also been sent home. You will find a wide range of activities which relate to class learning. On the back, you will find the phonemes, phonic words and common words which your child is learning and practising in class. It is most helpful if you can support with this at home too. Thank you.

The September Home Learning Grid has been sent home. The front gives you different ideas of activities and tasks which link to class learning. The back lists the sounds and words that will be taught and practiced in class. Reinforcing this learning at home will be incredibly helpful too. Thank you.

This month we have Maths Week Scotland. This year’s theme is Maths Matters are we looked at maths all around us. First of all, we became maths detectives and looked for maths all around us – numbers, patterns, shapes etc. Then, we used 2D shapes (linking to class learning) to create tiling patterns as these are all around us too.

PE
In PE on Friday, we are practicing rugby skills. Here we are practicing a “pocket pass” where we pass the rugby ball sideways.
