Across P1-7, we have been learning about Coal Mining. It has been a very interesting topic and the pupils have all been keen to learn about mining and the links to the community. Miss Cuthbert led a series of art lessons and Mrs Ross led a series of technology lessons (which are still in progress, as it’s a tricky project of building an A-frame with a moving lift!), linked to coal mining.

Jake (P7) made a great effort to create a large version of our design for the Drongan, Rankinston and Stair gala day, which will now be displayed within the school for everyone to see!
