On Thursday 2nd June S2 pupils took part in our annual Rapid Response Engineering Challenge. Pupils have spent the last 4 weeks building up to the day learning about the work of civil engineers and the vital role they play in our lives. Pupils then had to imagine what our homes, towns and cities would be like if natural disasters struck. To this end, pupils completed a series of challenges in groups during the challenge for example, purifying water, building shelters and transporting water. The event was a great success with beautiful weather and all pupils enjoyed the event immensely.
