Mindfulness for Worry Workshop 

One of The-Exchange’s fantastic counsellors and researchers, Heather Bond, PHD has created a 25 minute workshop on mindfulness for worry which has strategies and advice on how to cope with worry and stress. Suitable for use with PSE classes or for young people to view at home.

Recent data from The Exchange shows that anxiety is the top reason for requesting assistance from our counselling service in East Ayrshire. We will continue to analyse this data on a regular basis and implement preventative measures such as videos and workshops to support our young people.

In order to support young people in East Ayrshire during the pandemic and beyond, The-Exchange have developed a workshop which focuses on:

Mindfulness – Self Compassion 

This workshop  is aimed at secondary pupils and takes account of the themes of requests to the service to provide you with a resource for early intervention.   Please feel free to share this via your digital platforms including Twitter in order to highlight to young people and parents/carers the support that is available if needed.
