Scotland’s education system is an inclusive one; one which is ‘needs led’ and where support for learners begins with the class teacher. This tile provides practitioners with information and support materials to develop Inclusive Practice as well as the East Ayrshire pathways for schools to develop and embed that practice within an inclusive school ethos across the whole school community.

Pupil Support Assistants play a vital role in supporting learners and this tile offers professional learning and development opportunities specifically with them in mind. Whether it be signposting to national courses such as An Introduction to ACES, information about brain development or access to Bitesize videos relating to supports they may offer e.g. “Supporting Gross Motor Skills” and “An Introduction to Restorative Approaches”.
