Happy World Book Day Everyone!
Sadly, there will be no dressing up for World Book Day this year, but there are plenty of different activities for you to take part in and to enjoy. Mrs Miller has put some really exciting activities onto the School App including making a book character out of a potato, which looks like a lot of fun.
There are lots of activities for us to look at today too.
First of all a wee reminder of our Live Numeracy Lesson at 9.45am this morning. I look forward to seeing you there to learn more about the Factors which we first looked at yesterday.
In P.E. today, there is a really fun activity to build your own Climbing Wall (on the floor) but I can assure you that it will make you laugh a lot too. The link is here:
For World Book Day, there are so many different links for you to look at. It’s all about making your own choices today. Take a look at each of the web sites and think about what you would like to do. Most of all, enjoy! This first link might be really interesting for the Grown-Ups to start with.
Then, here is the ThinkLink page which I have discussed in today’s Activity Page. There are so many exciting activities here, including a making your own potions activity:
This link is perfect for those of you who enjoyed writing your Eco Warrior story over the last few days:

For those of you who prefer to read Non-Fiction stories, this one is just for you. It takes place tomorrow morning, but I thought I would tell you all about it so that you can make plans to watch it.

Finally, here is the link to the official World Book Day 2021 page itself. It is packed with all sorts of fun activities including the Scavenger Hunt which I have set as a challenge for you all today.
Phew!!
You will find the details about each website in the Class Notebook > Content Library > P5 Daily Resources > Thursday 4th March 2021.
Please remember to register this morning too.
I look forward to seeing you during our Live Lesson at 9.45am.
Take care everyone,
from, Miss Steedman
